Actress/Writer Govindini is the Co-Founder and Co-Director of the Liberty Film Festival, Hollywood's first conservative film festival. Govindini is currently developing (with a group of investors, executives, filmmakers & distributors) what will be Hollywood's first openly conservative production house. This company will create 527 commercials, PSAs, reality programming, all the way up to low-budget features. Govindini will also be co-writing and editing LIBERTAS, a weblog for conservative thought on film. Govindini's columns on film and Hollywood history have been featured on Newsmax.com and HollywoodRepublicans.com. She has been mentored in her film writing career by Michael Medved. Govindini has appeared on MSNBC's "Scarborough Country," Fox 11 News, The Michael Medved Show, The Al Rantel Show, The Jim Hirsen Show, the Steve Yuhas Show, The Inga Barks Show, and numerous other talk shows.

Govindini recently acted in, co-wrote and executive produced the independent feature Terminal Island with her husband, Jason Apuzzo. She's otherwise worked in film, TV, commercials and theater in Vancouver and Los Angeles . She played numerous roles as a member of the Long Beach Shakespeare Company, and won a Best Actress Award for her role as Margot in ³Dial M for Murder." Govindini came to the US to attend Yale University , where she re ceived a BA in East Asian Studies. While at Yale, Govindini served as Chair of the Women's Caucus of the Yale Political Union, Vice-Chair of the Independent Party, and columnist for the Yale Daily News.
